So I was tasked with updating the blog. Ok, Today, 17th September 2008, Nash, Faith and I went cycling at Pasir Ris Park. As I stayed near, I met both of them there. I brought my own bike to the park. Reaching there early, I waited for them at the Food Court as the weather was quite hot. We then decided to walk around E!hub and explore more, find out more about what kind of activities they had there. The usual stuff, Bowling, Snooker/Pool, Explorer Kid(some kid's playground), an Indoor Ferris Wheel, Cinema, K-box and some eateries. We then went out to the park to look for a bike rental kiosk. Found one and both Nash and Faith rented bikes. $5 an hour. They rented the bikes for 1hr. We cycled to one end of the park. But in between, We stopped by at a playground where Nash re-lived his childhood days. Haha. Reminisce about the old days where you longed for the playground? Up the endless ladders and stairs? Down the curvy, windy slides? Challenge who could go higher on the swing and jump off it when high enough? The ropes that form a spider web which when you made your way to the top, you could see quite a distance? Not forgetting the ups and the downs of the see-saw. The creaking of the wood as you alternate between flying and landing. Maybe I named one too many playground items. We did not go on ALL of them. Lol. Perhaps only the slide and the swing. Since the weather was hot, we went for desert after cycling. Ice Kachang, Almond Longan and Red Ruby ordered by Nash, Faith and me respectively. Then I had dinner at BK (Nash and Faith helped me with the fries =P) and then was back home. All in all, was quite an enjoyable day. Too bad couldn't have more people join us. Perhaps another time.
